We’ve been asked by a couple of people why we don’t use automated tools. Let us explain.
We don’t use any auto tools at this time. The reason is they don’t deliver the results and quality that Link Vines is committed to. We’ve used plenty of them and we are testing some other ones…we’re all about trying new things but thusfar, of the many tools tried none have lived up to our standards (and admittedly they are high standards).
There are sometimes issues with whether or not it actually created the accounts or uploaded videos/articles/whatever to all places, not being able to customize the profiles created the way we want without logging back in and doing it ourselves anyways, or having to log in to each account to be sure that everything was uploaded/created properly. It ends up taking just as much time to double-check, correct and add things it may not add for us, so we do it by hand so that it’s all done right the first time; and so that we know for a fact the account was created and created properly and anything submitted or uploaded was actually uploaded or submitted.
We do plan to continue testing tools but we’re VERY picky about the way things are done and knowing they are done correctly. We’ve been doing this for a long time and have never found results that can compare to handcrafting everything.
Yes, there are some tools that do a ‘decent’ job of some things but even ‘decent’ doesn’t come near our standards.
The only exception is if one could really care less about the quality and really could care less about whether each account is actually created or whether each submission was actually properly submitted and they just want to generate as many links as possible in as short of a time as possible with little work. If quality and not caring about the ones that weren’t created/submitted properly isn’t an issue and one would be satisfied with whatever was done properly by it, then the auto tools are fine…and some people do want this – which we totally get but we can’t let that give us a name for doing ‘mediocre’ work.
We are very efficient with our time but our company is focused on quality first and foremost over anything. So until we can find something that truly delivers the same results as if our team implemented the action themselves, we will continue to handcraft everything. You don’t save any time if you have to go back and double-check everything the tool did and make sure that blurbs, links and anything else were actually put in place and put where they belong.
We’re not comfortable with just believing it did everything it was supposed to without checking everything on our own (which again ends up not saving the time which was the reason for the auto tool in the first place). It’s a risk to just trust it and we don’t want to take risks with our company, our reputation, or our client’s campaigns. If we were comfortable leaving everything to chance, then believe us, we would be automation factory!
We do plan to implement some services for those who prefer automated submission to save a few dollars but we WILL NOT be guaranteeing anything where those automated tools are concerned. We will run the tool like we are supposed to but we will never promise that it will do everything that it’s supposed to or that it did everything properly (or did a job as well as our team would have done).
Some people would rather sacrifice quality for time, and we’re perfectly okay with that, we get it (and we do use some automated tools for our own things but risking the quality of someone’s else stuff is a completely different story). We’re game to do whatever a client prefers, but we won’t stand behind automated processes because you simply can’t depend on them like you can a human.
So there you have it =) That’s why we do everything by hand for you. Better end results and higher quality.
If you still prefer we automate some of your services, we’re happy to do so for you, but there is NO quality guarantee AT ALL and we will ask you to agree that you are specifically requesting we use this method for your campaign and that you agree not to hold Link Vines responsible for the outcome if it doesn’t turn out the results you hoped for.
Now let’s get your links built and get those search engines loving your site!

I am completely impressed. Continue to provide such personal attention. There is a universal truth: Most answers may look you dead in the face and you still will not see them.
